Question What are the odds that an Intelligent alien race would be humanoid?
In most movies and TV shows the aliens are portrayed as humanoid, however out of the multitude of species that have existed on earth, only one, humanity, has been humanoid. It's highly unlikely that any alien race would be humanoid, but how unlikely? Could it be possible that somewhere nearby there could be a humanoid alien race?

Best Answer I look at it from another way. Humans are the sum of all the failed life before us. It seems to me that to actually survive the eons necessary to become technologically and culturally advanced, you'd need some key human features. Life would have to form under conditions far different then our own for some kind of insectoid or reptile man to be the peak of sapient evolution. I think we humans evolved the way we did because of the challenges of the environment. We're the only species that has evolved to be a blank slate capable of changing or adapting to nearly any environment, while the others are completely dependent on an ideal environment they were designed for. Take that away and they go extinct quickly. In a nutshell, hands with opposable thumbs = good, Claws = bad.

Question How could i create a fake weapon that could wipe out an Alien race?
Im writing a science fiction short story, and in it is a weapon that could wipe out an Alien race, but shooting a high voltage wave into the aliens brain. I just need ideas for the mechanical or building part of the story, any ideas?

Best Answer Voltage probably wouldn't be the best idea as this is a measure of electrical charge which would be incredibly hard to transmit directly into the aliens brain without effecting the whole alien. Your best bet would be to create a Sonic Wave accelerator cannon that causes local waves to vibrate at a such frequency to cause the alien brains to shut down. Or you could just drop Ebola on them. That works too.

Somewhere far away in space, trillions of light years away, exists some form of alien race. Their age of civilization is older than ours by a billion years, with technology so advanced that they've detected life on earth. Unknowingly, they are living among us.

Question Would you prefer world leadership by a benevolent alien race?
Our world leadership is so bad that I'd prefer to work with a benevolent alien race rather than the human leadership that has given us starvation (40,000 children per day), war, suffering, and environmental catastrophes. Let's assume that they can see through the liberal and conservative gatekeepers. These space aliens are truly benevolent and avoid being intrusive.

Learn about the alien race. We hunted for details on the UFO topic and compiled it here. Surely UFOs exist out there and maybe soon we will see a real good UFO video with a proof of alien ships or ufo crafts filmed in daylight or already ufo aliens exiting their crafts.
