Question Whats the diffrence between the Alienware Area51 m15x and the regular m17 laptops?
I know that you get to customize it yourself. but both of them start at the same price, and i just wanted to know what the difference between them was.

Question why do people keep asking what is area51?
i do not understand why people keep asking about area51. it is just an air force testing place for new and secret aircraft and weapons technology. no alien stuff there, so why are people so obsessed? we are not going to test this stuff so rouge states can get easy access to it. if we did have alien technology there, would we not be using it in iraq....as in, iraq would not be such a mess now.....so why do people still think that the GOV is hiding so called UFO's?

Best Answer Many people just love mystery and conspiracy. No matter what evidence you show to disprove their theories they will deny it and hold onto the fantasy. You could take a group of die hard believers into Dreamland, or Area 51 if you prefer and show them the truth, but they would just say the government moved the evidence before they arrived there. The fact that the government's explanation, or lack thereof is more plausible matters little to these people and is certainly much less glorified. I think Dreamland is fascinating because of what they could possibly being testing there in the way of new military hardware, but I just don't buy the UFO, little green men claims.

Question Alienware area51 750I new computer will turn on but not start?
Today the computer would turn on but will not boot up, tried another monitor as well as removing the graphics card abd reinstalling it (per tech support), no luck Can anyone help please.. Thanks to Donutdan that worked great problem solved

Best Answer Remove all your RAM modules, and then put them back in. Make sure they're not damaged. Your power supply could be another possible issue, but RAM is easy to test. When your RAM is damaged, your computer will usually power on, but not do anything. Also, if anything on the computer was fried it cause this, like if the hard drive was fried, or the cpu was too overclocked. Try removing the internal battery of the computer for 5 minutes (one of those quarter looking batteries), then put it back in and retry booting the computer.

Best Answer Sorry but no it doesnt on the M17X which i own can support dual gpu but instead of CrossfireX you might as well go in for a HD 4870 X2 OR A GTX 295 both amazing cards!!
