I am doing research on the Roswell UFO conspiracy theory and I don't really understand it all. Question The Roswell UFO conspiracy?
Does anyone really suppose that a small group of people high up in the US government could keep secret the truth about the Roswell UFO crash (together with the bodies, wreckage and the mountains of secret documentation) for over 60 years? Especially when there are scientists the world over who would give ten years of their lives to get a glimpse of a genuine alien spacecraft? Is this is one of the craziest conspiracy theories of all time?

Best Answer An alien civilization light years away invented an interstellar space ship. They traveled for generations,found earth,zoomed down to Roswell to check it out,crashed and all got killed. Ya gotta hide such stupidity.So there you go.

Question Believe there really were MIBs (Men in Black) who were used in UFO conspiracy theories?
The MIBs were men who dressed in black suits, sometimes with glowing eyes or other monstrous features, claiming to be government agents who attempt to harass or threaten UFO witnesses into silence, like they did with the Roswell incident aqnd probably Area 51 too! They went on to be popular into the '60s. The movies with Will Smith were based on the real MIBs. What do you think of this possible conspiracy?

Best Answer Albeit I consider myself still a believer in the UFO matter, I have to give reports of MIB a degree of suspicious doubt--espicially given we haven't heard of any recent MIB visits in over 20 years. And with today's whiz-bang video techonology avialable to us on cellphones of all things, doubts exist we'll see any video of the infamous MIB; something that may lend more weight to my doubts. I do believe something "otherworldly" crashed in Roswell--and an existant group of suited US "G-men" who were in place BEFORE the FBI, CIA and the ultra top secret MAJIK-12 did "encounter" Roswell witnesses in threatening manners. And we know Area 51 exists--as we've also seen their manned security force; what few interactions they've had with outsiders has been civil, but strained. The loveable Hollywood MIB film is fluff: nothing more--but the project DOES lend belief there are people employed in ultra secret US Government departments that do become involved with such phenomon on quite a routine basis; something that, in fairness, MAY be a possibility.

Best Answer I dont subscribe to conspiracy theories. People like to believe in conspiracy theories for the same reason they like to believe in mysticisms like palm reading and psychics. It gives them a sense of higher purpose. To be intertwined and a victim of a massive conspiracy makes them feel important as though their life as more meaning that it apparently does to them otherwise. Just as believing in a higher power that they can tap into via mysticisms. It explains away their problems... its easy to give credit to perpetrators above the law or karma. It makes them feel that they can achieve power and control in some fashion, either by becoming a part of the conspiracy or by discovering an ability to control that "magic" Im not trying to take credit from spiritualism or religion, by no means. I am trying to show that mysticism is just a scape goat for people that are too apathetic to take control of their own lives. Why bother trying when "the man in power" has already decided to course of your life? Nor am I trying to negate any possibility of extraterrestrials. I hope to God we arent alone in the universe. But I highly doubt they come here on a regular basis just to mutilate our goats. Id hate to think they stumbled across our little corner of the galaxy and the only thing to catch their attention is a lower life form. Perhaps they just enjoy flattening our crops. Of course!!! They are trying to communicate with fellow alien passer-bys. Its obvious now that a species capable of intergalactic travel have yet to invent the radio. Seriously though. Magic aside. Conspiracy aside. The loneliness of being alone in the universe aside. Life is pretty meaningless to the normal person. Day in and day out, work, labor, pain... then you die. Few people find joy, happiness and true meaning and purpose in life. Its pretty sad. Too sad. Thats why people create these elaborate fantasies. Having the magical powers to inflict on others the same pain you feel... the ability to exact revenge without consequence. The ability to make life easier, be happy and purposeful. No worries. Who wouldnt want that? We humans want both peace of mind and simultaneously have more attention directed to ourselves. Center of attention... being looked up to by others for one reason or another.

Best Answer I know that there was an incident at Roswell and I can tell you after visiting that very same place, there is a shed load of cash being collected on the back of that story, a cash cow in the desert, who would pay to go there? ME!!!! Hahahaha!!!! Maybe Rangers could follow follow and pretend that a UFO had landed in Ibrox in the middle of the night and show little bits of silver paper to the baying press. Then the UFO tourists will be flocking to Ibrox and Rangers get out of some debt? I don't know, just a suggestion.
